A potted history
Established in December 1987 as part of the Thermal House Group, Applied Heating Services Ltd is a locally based company that has always believed in excellent customer service and workmanship that is second to none.
George and Joan Cossey bought the company in December 1991 and have been central to the running of Applied Heating Services Ltd ever since. It was just a year later that George and Joan celebrated the company's acceptance as a member of the HVCA - a kitemark of the quality of service and commitment to safety in the heating and ventilation field.
Over the years the team at Applied Heating Services has gathered experience through the supply, installation and maintenance of all kinds of heating systems. Some of the company's landmark projects have involved boiler installations for the Royal Station Hotel in Newcastle and a series of nursing homes for the Gainford Care Group.
Expansions
In 2000, Applied Heating Services joined forces with Invisible Heating Systems Ltd to design, supply and install under floor heating systems to domestic and commercial customers throughout the North East.
2004 saw the takeover of an established and successful boiler maintenance company, North East Boiler Maintenance Ltd, which resulted in not only an expansion of the size of the team but also an increase in experience and expertise.
As a result of many years of hard work and the expansion of the company throughout the North East, Applied Heating Services enjoys a sizeable and loyal customer base which continues to grow steadily.
